Space from the body

We will examine the role of the sculpture not only a three-dimensional object; monument, faith object, public marker and spatial experience. The ideal body in ancient sculpture will compare the figures in Middle Age structures, reinterprets of the Renaissance and search for materials in modern sculpture.

Three-hour program

The first time: read the sculpture; mass, space, surface, scale and viewing angle. Second time: The ancient Mediterranean world, the body and movement in Renaissance and Baroque examples. After the break: Exchanges, abstract sculpture, placement and public art after the rodin. Last half an hour a work review workshop and question-cevap.

Participation

You don’t have to know the preliminary information; you don’t need to buy sculpture material for application. Training goes through visual examination and discussion. Finally, you get a review method that you can read the sculptures from different angles.
