Damla Ersoy creates semi-abstract acrylic paintings inspired by nature and animals.

Biography

Damla Ersoy was born in İzmir in 1990 and has been interested in painting since childhood. Although she graduated in international relations, she changed her focus, and painting—her greatest interest—became central to her life. She works primarily in acrylic on canvas. Rather than planning a work in advance, she usually lets it develop intuitively, losing her sense of time in the process. Inspired mainly by nature and animals, she brings imagination and reality together in semi-abstract paintings.
