Biography

Edanur Üğe is a young artist whose close observation and search for meaning invite a thoughtful response. She graduated from İhsaniye Anadolu Lisesi in 2023. During high school, she gained experience in illustration by illustrating a children’s book. In the same year, she began a bachelor’s degree in the Painting Department of Afyon Kocatepe University’s Faculty of Fine Arts, where she continues her studies. Her work draws on memory, childhood, identity, and personal experience. She treats objects that acquire meaning in everyday life as carriers of connections to the past. Combining different materials and techniques, she aims to make personal stories visible and establish an emotional connection with viewers. In exploring the relationship between past and present, she questions how individuals relate to their own identities and memories.
