Biography

Elifhan Sezer creates distinctive works on emotion and perception, combining oil painting and collage in mixed media. Known for her ribbon series, she participates in various art fairs. She graduated from Kadir Şişginoğlu’s studio at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Karadeniz Technical University. Her work proposes that true seeing takes place not through the eyes, but through the more powerful bonds of feeling. She brings the complexity, intensity, and unpredictability of emotion into her paintings through large ribbon forms that are at once graceful and strong.
